HIV and AIDS by Marina Coleman
We firmly believe that this book will be of assistance in effort to slow down the spread of HIV and AIDS amongst people in workplaces, schools and communities. Behavior change amongst people is what is needed to stop the epidemic and the book deals with this pragmatically and clearly.

Our aim is to get the book out to as many people and into as many communities as possible. We want the book to go home with people into their houses and families where it can be used by family members and community members as a way to encourage discussion about HIV and AIDS and support people in their efforts to increase their knowledge and change behaviour.

When discussing HIV and AIDS, it is impossible not to talk about sex. Some people might find this offensive or difficult to discuss. However, the more information you have, the more open you become to yourself and others, and the greater the chance that you can prevent yourself from contracting HIV and AIDS. As Marina says, “Would you rather be a little embarrassed or a lot dead?”

My desire is to have this book accessible to as many people as possible to empower them to take control and ownership of their sexual behaviour and to have a very good understanding of every facet of HIV and AIDS. – Marina Coleman
